How can I request a change in my power capacity?

Currently, the option to request a change in your power capacity (potencia contratada) directly in the app is not yet available. However, if you need to make a change, you can request it by email at hola@chippio.es.

Please note that changing your power capacity usually involves associated costs. Reducing your power capacity costs €10.95 (VAT included), which will be charged to your next (or first) Chippio bill. This fee is completely independent of Chippio, as it is set and received by your local distributor—we simply collect it on their behalf.

If you wish to increase your power capacity, you will need to pay extension rights (derechos de extensión) if they are not already covered.

To clarify what extension rights mean: if you currently have 5 kW of power capacity and decide to reduce it to 3 kW, your covered extension rights remain at 5 kW. If you later want to increase it back to 5 kW, you won't have to pay anything extra because those rights were previously covered (keep in mind that extension rights expire 3 years after you stop using them). If they are not covered, you will have to pay for them. These rights cost approximately €50 for each kW you wish to increase that is not already covered.
