How do I cancel the electricity supply in my home?

You might want to temporarily cancel your electricity supply because you won't need it for a while and want to avoid the fixed costs that come with it (even if you don't consume energy, you still have to pay for fixed costs like power capacity, electricity taxes, etc.). For example, if you are not going to use your beach house for 8 months, you don't have to keep paying for it.

However, keep in mind that reconnecting the supply later on involves activation fees, so it is important to do the math to see if it is worth it for you.
